Primary Respiratory Motion

There is a reciprocal motion between the bones of the skull and the bones of the pelvis, and between the bones of the skull that helps to move the cerebrospinal fluid.  This fluid protects, nourishes, and maintains a proper environment for function of the central nervous system (your brain and spinal cord).  Disrupruptions to this motion create large changes in central nervous system function, and then those effects are expressed throughout your body.

Corrections to faults of this motion are gentle and far reaching.

The Primary Respiratory Motion has several technique-specific names and has been extensively described by researchers, including Sutherland, DeJarnette, Goodheart, Upledger, and Zankis,et al.
